URGENT PRAYER REQUEST - from Deborah Cofer
Our prayer warriors in India were attacked by an angry mob a few days ago. Thirty of our members were present on a gospel trip to a nearby city, including widows, children, and some pastors. As the group marched down the streets handing out tracts, singing, preaching, and praying for the sick, they were attacked by an angry mob. The furious mob surrounded them and beat them savagely with rods and brooms. One of our young men was severely beaten and his clothes were ripped off. Our leader in India, Mrudula, was beaten across her back. Our people retreated, TO PRAYER! They regrouped at the newly established Prayer Healing Center run by five dedicated praying widows.
🌲 MERRY CHRISTMAS! LET'S CELEBRATE! 🌲
Christmas is celebrated everyday by our ministry in India during the month of December! Programs are shared in open air meetings, on the streets, in tribal villages, in homes, and in churches. Our Hope Home children dance and sing and the Christmas message is shared to all who will listen. After the celebrations, everyone is fed. Mrudula (the leader of our India Ministry) told me the celebrations are a time when everyone can hear the message of Jesus Christ. They proclaim that Jesus is alive and the way, the truth, and the life. The meetings end in candlelight showing that He is the light of the world. India desperately needs the light of Christ.
Jesus fed the multitudes when He ministered in public. Our ministry also feeds the multitudes after the celebrations. Many hundreds will get to know Jesus through these evangelistic outreaches! What a powerful witness!
